Hello There, Yes, I would purchase the soapnuts again. They work great! My clothes look, feel & smell clean, they are soft & the soap nuts appear to be color safe as well. Their smell is similar to vinegar to me but when rinsed...just plain clean. I took 1 cup of the nuts & added 3 cups of water and boiled (low boil, simmer) this for 20 min. I strained it (I saved the soap nuts as they were still a nice brown color. When they dried completely, I was able to get a dozen good laundry washes out of the cup of already boiled soapnuts. How is that for value?) & let the liquid cool to room temp. I then added an equal part distilled water, 1/2 cup vinegar, 1 table Spoon 91% Isopropyl Alcohol & 15 drops of lemon essential oil. WOW! The BEST all purpose "Green" cleaner I have ever used. If you use a micro fiber cloth, even better. A little of this cleaner goes a long way! Your prices are fantastic & so are the soap nuts. Thank-You, Kimberley

Hi,
i bought the soap nut for my mum, so ill let her tell you.I have used soap nuts since Mothers day when my daughter gave them to me, and i have found them to be fab. I will get round to making a solution out of them in the near future. My washing has been just as clean with soap nuts as with chemical powders but i especially like my towel and jeans washes as they are now very soft and lovely. I am so impressed that i have given some to my mum too. I am waiting to see what she thinks. I am sure we will be ordering some more in the future.

In reply to your question, yes I have used the soap nuts and am pleased with the results. I like the fact they do not have a strong scent as my daughter and myself have very sensitive skin which becomes very sore and itchy if it comes into contact with scented washing powder, etc.

I would recommend them, and will buy more when I run out (although they are very economical, so it may be some time before I need to re-order from you!) However, I will be ordering some of the little washbags because mine isn't going to last much longer. Can't remember you sending me any useful tips, but when I order the bags maybe you could send the tips with the bags please.

Now I have had a chance to use the soap nuts a few times I can confidently say that they work very well. I was a bit concerned that the vinegary smell may be noticeable but once the clothes are dry it isn’t noticeable at all. I do, however like my washing to smell of something so I add 5 or 6 drops of essential oil to the conditioner compartment of the washing machine. Lavender and ylang ylang work very well. I pre-soak new nuts in hot water for a few minutes and save the water as it makes a good cleaning solution for other things. They are very good value and good for the environment so all round I am very pleased. Thanks, Justine, Windmill Furnishings incorporating

I am very pleased with the soapnuts i purchased from you:) they are an excellent sustainable solution, especially worthwhile in the current economic climate, and the information leaflet which accompanied the soapnuts was also very useful and informative:) Thank Dan

Hello,
I regularly use the soap nuts for washing, and find them superb. Occasionally on some of the more ground in dirt on my white washes I have to add an oxygenated additive to move the really tough stains.Overall though the soap nuts are brilliant, and are help with my sons eczema. The only down side I have (being petty), is that I keep losing the bag! Otherwise they are brilliant.
I usually do 5 washes with 5 soap nuts then replace the nuts. Can you advise me, doe sthis sound about right or could I squeeze a few more washes out of them? Thanks Steve Heyes

Hello,
I am very pleased with the soap nuts and would definately buy them again. I have only used them in the washing machine so far. The smell is a natural smell, unobtrusive.
Bye, Jean

I was very pleased with the soap nuts and will definately be ordering them again (I just have some washing powder to use up first).I wanted to use them to be kinder to the environment and also because I have excema but was also pleasantly surprised at how cheap they are (they saved me a fortune). I have used the soap nuts, and think they're an amazing product.

I use them for everything as suggested in your advice sheet and also in a little bag for getting the soap ring off the bath, and again ina bag to wash greasy pans with. It gets oil and grease off better than fairy liquid.

Hi, The soap nuts are great, I use them all the time. They bring the wash up lovely and soft. I have not tried the other ways of using them yet. Regards

Hi, Yes we have been using the soap nuts in conjunction with essential oils for fragrance, infact the nuts seem to condition as well as clean the clothes. They seem more effective than the previous detergents and they have handled some tough grime, as ive been working on some really dirty oily vehicles. We are going to use the suggestions you sent for other uses, but so far have not, however i feel more determined to recycle my grey water into the garden stock than ever. We will be buying more from you in the future, Many thanks friend!! Colin and Nic x

Hi, thanks for your message, I am really pleased with the soap nuts they give a fantastic wash, better than those chemically loaded brands. I have given a few soap nuts to family members with my strong recommendations of the product and you. I will certainly be back to buy more from you, I am also interested in any other chemical free products you have. The tips sheet was very interesting and I was suprised to find all the things you could use them for though as yet I haven't used them for anything else but if I find another use for them I will let you know.
kind regards Ali

The soap nuts are great! I've been really pleased with the washing so far. My nephew has really sensitive skin so I've given some to my Mum and sister to try too. Would definitely buy again. Your tips are also very helpful and I look forward to using the nuts in other ways. Hope this info helps! Regards Ruth

I have only used them in the washing machine so far, but intend to boil some so I can use for handwashing, hoping to help my eczema. I like the fact that my clothes feel softer - the t-shirts almost feel like brushed cotton. i was so impressed that I sent some to a friend for her birthday.

Hi there,
We were (my wife was) given a few soap nuts to try, together with a similar page of helpfull hints. Needless to say, the very next day, I was told to get some. We are very happy with the soap nuts. We shall continue to use them, and to experiment with various uses. I shall continue to request them from your good self, but, because of their efficacy, that probably won't be too frequent. However, we are sending most of this batch to more friends and relatives - "Spreading the word". Good luck, many thanks, and you will hear from me again very shortly. Maurice Young

Love them. Give a great wash. I still use softner but mostly to make washing smell not because washing needs to be softer. Always use one teaspoon of bicarbonate if soda with whites to help make them sparkle. Have also boiled some up to make household cleaner, which not only cleans really well but thanks to the essential oils in it smells better than anything you will ever get in the shops. Got two of my friends using them already, price wise you can't go wrong and all while saving the planet - brilliant

I would like to say that they are great, very good value and easy to use, my son's ezcema has improved and although they do not leave a strong scent on the clothes the clothes smell clean and fresh, if i want extra scent i add lavender essential oil to the rinse cycle. anita bookbooty

Yes I got your soap nuts, and I have used them.
I do all my washing by hand in the bath, and as I have 3 children the washing mounts up. I found using washing powder was murder on my hands, the soap nuts have been much kinder,I just put the bag with some nuts in under the hot tap. The clothes still get as clean, and I using the soap nuts will save me money. I will be buying more from you when these have run out. Thanks

hi there,
yes! The soap nuts are excellent! Washing comes up clean and fresh, cleaner than the usual commercial powders. Will also be using them for cleaning re: your information sheet on their other uses. I have allergies to lots of shower gels and things and will be trying the soap nuts. I have also recommended soap nuts to my friends. Will be buying more in the near future.
Regards Debbie

I think they are great. I use them for every wash and don't need to use fabric softner. I boiled 3 cups of water with 1 cup of soap nuts, strained the liquid and put it into a spray bottle and I use it for general cleaning (e.g. kitchen surfaces, glass, etc). Works great
